Rebecca Guarda is a visual artist and practicing architect based in Sebastopol, California. Born and raised in Rome, Italy, her lifelong fascination with art, architecture, and world mythology has been shaped by living across the United States and Mexico City. Her current studio practice explores nature through painting and collage, alongside a diverse body of work spanning mixed media, printmaking, large-scale installations, ceramics, and photography.
Guarda holds a BFA and B.Arch from the Rhode Island School of Design and an MFA from the Miami International University of Art & Design, where she also taught perspective drawing and color theory. Her work is included in the Miami-Dade County Art Bank Collection and has been exhibited nationally, including at the Berkeley Art Center, the Heriard-Cimino Gallery, and the Centro Cultural Español.
